Interzone Readers’ Poll April 27, 2007 – Posted in: Altered Fluid
Every year, readers of the fabutastic British science fiction magazine Interzone vote on their favorite stories. This year, the readers spoke: they voted Mercurio D. Rivera’s “Longing for Langalana” best story of the year. It is a well deserved title, and we congratulate Mercurio.
The poll is in Interzone’s 25th anniversary issue (#209, the latest). Mercurio discusses his history with the magazine in issue #210. We hope his history has a long future.

Thanks, Matt. I’m thrilled that “Langalana” received such a great reception. The poll results appear in issue 209, pictured above. My brief submission about my experience with the magazine, in honor of Interzone’s ongoing 25th year anniversary celebration, appears next issue (#210).
