I had the shittiest English education. Okay, maybe that’s hyperbole, but I can’t name more than five novels we had to read in high school. In college it was worse. I’m reposting an email I received from Gisha.com, “an Israeli not-for-profit organization, founded in 2005, whose goal is to protect the freedom of movement of Palestinians, especially Gaza residents. Gisha promotes rights guaranteed by international and Israeli law.” I do so because I feel that in this holiday season it’s important to remember that while we in the West enjoy many comforts, there are still many in this world who suffer unremittingly.
