I saw Coraline last night and enjoyed it. The 3D was spectacular, not the kind of cheap gimmicky thing I was expecting. I was a little disappointed in the plot of the film itself. Without giving away spoilers (ok nevermind, spoilers ahead), I felt some characters and plot points were underdeveloped. Perhaps this is because I didn’t read the book (gasp! for shame!) and missed a lot of the backstory that they couldn’t cram into the film. But, who was Beldam? We’ve all heard about the Orwellian problems with the recent Facebook terms of service and how they have since backtracked to an older version due to user discontent .
