Paper Cities Book Cover October 9, 2007 – Posted in: Paper Cities, Sybil's Garage
I’m excited to show you the cover for Paper Cities, An Anthology of Urban Fantasy (click the image to enlarge). The anthology will be appearing in a limited run of 50 copies at World Fantasy Convention, and there will be reading(s) as well. The official release date is April 2008, but we will be taking pre-orders starting in January.
I’m very fond of the cover design. The fabulous background art is by Aaron Acevedo, and the slick cover design is by Kris Dikeman. Kris also designed the interior.
Also, I’d like to do a brief Sybil’s Garage update. We’ll be closing to submissions for issue No. 5 on November 5th, 2007. So far we have accepted 6 short stories and 4 poems. We have received 296 submissions and responded to 245. Because we have been receiving a lot of short fiction under 3000 words, we encourage submitters to send us stories greater than 3000 words (up to ~5000).
That’s it for now. Hope you like the cover!

That’s a gorgeous cover! I can’t wait to read the book.
Now to bribe someone to pick me up a copy at World Fantasy…

Thanks everyone! Not to worry, if the limited run sells out at WFC, the full printing run will have enough for all.
