Can I just say that tonight’s Doctor Who episode redeemed the whole season, in fact, maybe the whole series.  Time travel?  Yes.  Cool aliens.  Yes.  Minor characters that become major.  Yes.  Absolutely brilliant pacing and tension.  Yes.

Not to mention the oh not-so-subtle use of pop culture (DVDs, easter eggs, internet transcripts) to draw in the YA crowd.

This, quite simply, was good science fiction.  When all y’all have seen it, we can talk about it.  But you might as well assume from here on in there might be spoilers.
