Collectors’ Quest

Rachel - Not what she seems. My sister has launched a beta version of her website called Collectors’ Quest. It’s a place where people of like minds can get together and talk about what they collect. For me, it’s Blade Runner stuff. I own several copies of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? I own the film, both the director’s cut and the theatrical release, on DVD and VHS. I also own (gracefully given to me by Gordon Van Gelder) All Those Moments, Rutger Hauer’s autobiography. I also own The Blade Runner Experience, the making of the epic film. Finally, I purchased an Italian movie poster at ComicCon NY 2006 for about $35. It now sells for $300. Right now it’s sitting in a bag on a shelf because it will cost me about $300 to frame it. The poster is huge!

So what do you collect? Sign up and tell everyone about it. The website is still in beta testing, so you have to register to see everyone’s collection. But that will change in a week or two once they work out all the kinks. I’ve been using it for a few days and already it’s shaping up to be very cool.

Do you have any Bladerunner videogames? I have a very old one, for PC platform. Want it?

You know, I almost bought that game several times. I wonder if it will work on Windows XP. Sure, I’ll take it. Thank you.
