New Story in Print November 28, 2006 – Posted in: Altered Fluid
I’m happy to announce that I have a new story in print. “Marie and the Mathematicians” appears in the current issue (#26) of Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine.
I’m fairly certain that the cover illustration (seen at left) was taken directly from my story, which is a pretty darn cool thing of them to do. I’m even first in the table of contents. All in all, I’m pretty psyched about my first story in print and my first publication in a short while. You can get yourself a copy here.

I just ordered my copy. Hopefully I can get it autographed by the mag’s “lead story” writer.

An early review: “..a strong opening by Matthew Kressel with ‘Marie and the Mathematicians,’ in which a waitress is held captive by a crazy scientist to complete stolen theories that change the world”

Not quite a review, per se, but “Dr. Phil” liked my story.
“One of my favorite “young” SF markets is Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine out of Australia. They run some good stories, like “Marie and the Mathematicians” by Matthew Kressel in issue #26 and the brilliant “Nomenculture” by Ayne Terceira in issue #25…”
